🥵 Heatwave!
Well that was a hot week! I spent most of it trying to keep the house cool, keep myself cool, and remember what normal temperatures feel like. And it looks like we’ve got another spike coming next week!
Quite a long post for you this month, where I collected my thoughts on why clickable table rows are a bad idea.
From the archives
Writing about clickable table rows this month got me thinking about another common table-related mistake: using tables when a list would do just fine. This month’s archive pick looks at how to tell the difference: Are you sure that table isn’t a list?
Elsewhere on the web
And finally, here are some of the more interesting bits and bobs I came across around the web during June:
- Apple unveils new accessibility features, and updates powered by Apple Intelligence
- WWDC26 — The Small Things
- Access:Given 2026 Talks
- Context-aware headings in HTML
- Rediscover the HTML select element
Anyway, I’m off to enjoy the more sensible temperature while it lasts; catch you again at the end of July! 🌤️
